The panorama and visualiser

Virtu-o-Grasp

Welcome to the panorama and visualiser pages. The panorama and the visualiser give you the ability to explore the Canning River Regional Park study area.
The Panorama gives you a large scale aerial image of the park which can be panned around the areas of interest. At key points you can click on hotspots to provide a full 360° panorama for that point. The panoramas have been linked so that you can travel around the study area. Features of interest have hotspots which reveal still image of the point.
The visualiser models the park in 3D. You are able to control a fly-through around the park, in full control of your path and your direction and angle of view.

In delivering these capabilities over the internet download size must be considered. The applets contain some large and detailed imagery and for the visualiser you will need a good graphics card as well. Because of this there is the option of 'Full' and 'Lite' versions of the applets. If you have a slow internet connection you can choose to bypass these sections and continue with the other modules by selecting the button in the navigation bar.
