Terrestrial Laserscanner Hardware Survey

The ISPRS WGV/3 is making available a hardware survey compiled using information sourced from laserscanner manufacturers. In the current form, the laserscanner hardware survey is available as a PDF document.

The objective of the hardware survey is to assist in developing standardised terms to describe laserscanner characteristics and facilitate more comprehensive advertising of product information by manufacturers.

Terrestrial Laserscanner Software Survey

The working group co-chairs are pleased to release the terrestial laserscanner software survey (XLS document) and a summary of the results (PDF document).

The list of software programs was compiled with a software survey questionnaire sent mid-2005 to the members of the ISPRS Working Group V/3. It therefore reflects the use of software within this group and is not necessarily representative for the entire market of terrestrial laser scanning software. If you think that an important program is missing, please send it's name, the internet link and a short description to Tahir Rabbani.
